Equipment Cover

Q. Can DareDirect insure the club’s sports equipment?

A. Sports equipment can be covered by DareDirect if we are insuring the Club’s buildings and contents. We can not cover it on a stand alone policy.

Residency

Q. Can DareDirect cover clubs based in Southern Ireland?

A. No, we can only cover clubs based in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Coaches

Q. Does the policy cover the club’s coaches?

A. The policy does cover the club’s coaches as long as they are coaching club members or for the club. All club coaches must also be qualified in the sport/activity that they instruct.

Events

Q. Does the policy cover me for any events held by the club?

A. The policy will cover the club for any events held that were disclosed when completing the proposal forms. If an event is to be held that wasn’t originally disclosed then it may be added at a later date, but there could be an additional premium.

Sports Clubs not covered by DareDirect

Q. Are there any clubs that DareDirect are unable to cover?

A. Yes, we are unable to cover the following clubs:
Abseiling, Climbing, Motor Sport, Wrestling

Small Clubs

Q. We are a very small club and only play amongst ourselves once a week, can you provide cover?

A. Yes, as long as you provide this information in your proposal forms, we will be able to provide you with an appropriate quotation for the needs of your club.

Q. What if we don’t own our own facilities?

A. You may find that some of the questions are not applicable to you but as long as you fill the forms out as fully and as truthfully as you can then we will be able to provide you with an appropriate quote.
